Hi John, How was your first storm as being a quitter? Did the rain smell a little different for you? I like watching storms too, and where I live, we've had a bunch of them this month. Stay strong. Not One Puff Ever

Thank you Pappy Today it looks like we are going to have a thunder storm, its getting very dark and humid I love to watch a good storm and get excited, now before starting my quit journey I would be puffing away waiting so this will be my first storm that I can remember without smoking, so I have two things to look forward to  John

HI John! Well I am a Xbox 1 gamer for the most part. Have many friends spread across the world and the States. Yes indeed it is amazing how quickly our bodies begin to snap back once we put the smokes down. Of course the key here is to stay smoke free, so never let that demon fool you into thinking you can have just one. I know from experience that doesn't work. Keep up the good fight, your doing great!

Hi Pappy I game most days I like FPS, Tank Games and Space Fighter Games to name a few and Gaming is a lot better smoke free  Today I had a surprise, I changed our bed because my Wife asked as she was going out, (bottom sheet, pillow cases and duvet cover) before my quit doing this was hard work made me hot and out of breath but today I had it done in half the time and found it quite easy !. There are so many benefits to stopping smoking and my quit journey is one of the best things I have ever undertaken  John

Good morning John. Nice to have a break away from work once in a while. I love to game as well and isn't it great not to have to constantly put things on hold to have another smoke. I know the guys I play with put up with my nasty habit, but I am sure they are glad we can now just play things straight through. LOL, Life is good without smoking.

Hi Tim Yes Stephanie my wife does smoke but only outside, I am explaining the benefits of my quit journey but its her choice, I hope in time she may also quit. Today just got up and its rare for me but I did have a couple of hours sleep at night so this morning I'm going to cook breakfast for us, Max has just gone out after he had some fuss and I will give him his breakfast when he comes in    Calm and relaxed today, possibly very stressed out tomorrow, you just never know. I have my guard up Tim but feeling great today and enjoying a Coffee right now. Wishing you a happy smoke free day John

Hi John, Boy it sure sounds like you are doing great on your quit journey. A positive attitude goes a long way.  Does your wife smoke? I'll bet Max is LOVING you not stinking of cigarettes anymore!  Be sure and keep your guard up though. Calm and relaxed today, possibly very stressed out tomorrow, you just never know.  "life just gets better and better on my quit journey " Yes it does. Enjoy your FREEDOM John!Stay strong. Not One Puff Ever

"from starting my quit I feel a lot calmer" - yes yes YES!  Isn't that an amazingly pleasant surprise?  Leading up to my quit, I thought there was simply never going to be a way to soothe my anxieties and irritations ever again.  Little did I know, that by quitting smoking I was actually going to PREVENT a ton of anxieties and irritations from ever coming up in the first place.  I am a much less anxious person since quitting smoking, now that my blood pressure isn't all over the place from the nicotine intake/withdrawal process and I'm no longer stressed out about quitting smoking or figuring out when I can smoke and hide it... Enjoy the serenity, it just gets better from here.

Good evening Change of plan tonight I was going to play EVE On line (great space game and free on Steam Platform) but had a phone call from work two now off sick so I'm going in to do a extra shift (overtime), now before I started my quit I would have not been to happy giving up one of my nights off and smoked even more, but today I don't mind (I can game tomorrow night), from starting my quit I feel a lot calmer and I will be on 1 1/2 times pay tonight  John

Hi John, keep up the great work. Sounds like you are doing well. Stay focused and don't let that nico devil trick you into thinking you can have just one. I have now really begun to notice how much my sense of smell is returning and I am really looking forward to this fall so that I can enjoy all the wonderful smells of that season.as it has been a long time since I have. As of now I am enjoying smelling all of those barbecues going that I was missing before and it's making me hungry. LOL Have a wonderful smoke free day!

Hi John, Feels rather good not huffing and puffing doesn't it!  And just think, you've only been a quitter for 8 days. It's going to get much better for you down the road if you keep your quit going. You have a great day too!Stay strong. Not One Puff Ever

Just got home from work 6:40am, I have been in the same job for 12 years now and I walk to work (about 20 mins each way) going to work is easy down hill but its uphill coming home and its getting easier each day, this is a very noticeable difference to me because Im not puffing and blowing by the time I get home  Hope you all have a good day John
