Do you want a quit buddy?
Talking as a group is an amazing opportunity to get feedback
from the entire group. Yet, sometimes it is nice just to chat one on one
with someone. So next week we will be offering Buddy Match-up
Discussions. To register simply post your name here, add a few things you
would like to talk about and times you are available to chat (include time
zone). Then next week we will match you up with a Quit Buddy and schedule
a time for you to come here and have a one on one chat. More information will follow on match up day!
Ask questions, share advice, talk about the program or
simply vent about your quit! This is a great opportunity for new members
to get acquainted with a member of the group!
There are a few ground rules:
1. Try to keep the discussion on Smoking Cessation
2. Do not share personal information like email or full name
3. If others want to contribute to your discussion that is
ok!
4. If you cannot make it to your scheduled conversation let
a Health Educator know through feedback.
5. Please don't take these discussions to the Instant Messenger as the information you share in your buddy match up discussions can be very helpful for browsing members.
